5.31

Year 5.31 was a good climax to the year round the corner. Monday was usual lunch at McDonald’s, getting flowers for Doris and do some writing. This week’s leg massage encounters virus restrictions.

Day two was coworkers zoom. I was most excited looking at Revelation 1 and plan to make it my new sermon series late next year.

Wednesday was a dreaded budget meeting in the morning and a leaders meeting at night. Buddy returned with two mangoes for me.

Day four I pondered over privacy matters in the future. I’m not nervous but I’m wary and watchful. We feel the same way with things moving so fast for the worst. Not a good time to give orders.

Friday was almost gone listening to coworkers Sermons. It’s been a pleasure but things will end this year with observable differences.

Day six was breakfast with K lady. She even gave me a box of chocolates for the guys. Afternoon was praise team where I contributed harmony that was not used eventually.

Sunday was exciting youth fellowship followed by reorganization zoom. I left at 4 and listened mute. At night I was happiest because I finally finished my new book People Jesus Met, apart from a few study questions.

5.30

Year 5.30 was easy going apart from the virus. On Monday I ate at McDonald’s, bought flowers and do writing. Other than that it was Zac’s birthday, so we celebrated online with my godsons. Pray for his ministry studies in Singapore!

Day two was hard. I had an exchange that caused another to venture to the dark side. Seems like I’m stepping on toes and causing red faces.

Wednesday was better because I was asked to pray! Again I interrupted saying seniority should be first as substitute in virus emergency.

Day four a leader asked me to allow committee to work but I said I’m for more 健全 future. Lunch was nice!

On Friday I was delighted that I had progress on the structure of Ps 119! It made me alive this week.

Day six was language meeting without ado. I managed to finish my study on Ps 119 but preaching it is another thing!

Sunday I was delighted with Jeff preaching on revelation, so that’s my next book! I got a notice that my book was a bestseller and received more than a hundred WhatsApp congratulations!

5.29

Year 5.29 was exhilarating!  On Monday I went to my first leg massage. It was generally safe and open! I bought flowers and returned to the office.

Day two was back to zoom meeting. We had yum cha for the last time before the latest restrictions bite. My fearless leader would soon disappear!

Wednesday was leaders prayer meeting. Nobody heard my request for Supper help coming Sunday! I finished my Sunday ppt and I was excited.

Day four was a slow day as my chiropractor had a doctors appointment. I had been working on Lamentations 2 to my delight. It’s worth the while.

Friday was make up chiropractor day. Night dinner was canceled due virus restrictions, so it’s back to home cooking.

Day six was Christmas rehearsal which we did within ten minutes performance limit imposed on us. Our leader is having fits.

Sunday was a cracking day. I have to preach and do Supper before racing to pth to do Supper. SZ said I spit fire when I finished my sermon in less than 20 minutes. It is stellar for what’s on my plate. Happier than this is seeing the sermon progress of K, Es and M!

5.28

Year 5.28 worship was battling the resurfaced virus. On Monday I had a lunch meeting with a leader at LR in Mongkok. We were cordial because he’s hardworking and reasonable, but not to others. I made a lot of progress in Ecclesiastes.

Day two was explosive as many questioned why they had no knowledge of a volunteer system in place. I did my part to shield the church in reorganization but the smaller issue escaped me.

On Wednesday I had a better than usual walk thanks to my month long endeavor to soak my feet thirty minutes in hot water plus salt and vinegar. It adds meaning to the phrase 加鹽加醋.

Day four was quiet as I went to chiropractor as usual. I had lunch at Tam with a coworker for two weeks now as he’s frustrated by festive preparations.

Friday was a scramble as the committee decided to close service this weekend. Pth did well but English was frayed. TS committee had an online meeting for the evening.

Day six saw the return of youth for festive rehearsal that went ok, not as free spirited as the demo we did yesterday with K M.

Sunday was a big test we succeeded bravely even while R stayed at home because of an infection in his block. We had drinks because a coworker needed to talk.
